How PlaceBridge stores session information
Last updated: 20 August 2026
PlaceBridge uses essential browser storage to keep approved users signed in. On the public website, we also ask for your consent before using Google Analytics - it stays off unless you accept.
Essential session storage
When an approved user signs in, PlaceBridge stores a temporary session token in the browser's local storage. This allows the secure workspace to remain available during the signed-in session. The token is removed when the user signs out.
Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
On the public PlaceBridge website - not the signed-in workspace - we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, so we can improve it. This sets cookies to distinguish visitors and measure activity. We only load Google Analytics after you accept the cookie banner shown on this site; if you decline, or don't respond, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time:
Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited. Read Google's privacy policy for how it processes this data.
Advertising
PlaceBridge does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
Third-party services
If you choose to open an external payment page, that provider may use its own essential cookies or storage under its own policy. PlaceBridge should only link to payment services when the user chooses to continue to payment.
Managing browser storage
You can remove the PlaceBridge session token by signing out. You can also clear site data using your browser settings. Clearing site data will sign you out.
