Using PlaceBridge
PlaceBridge helps councils, social workers, care providers, and approved partners coordinate placement needs, availability, enquiries, documents, and transition planning.
List availability, share regulator details, respond to placement enquiries, and manage private placement conversations.
Post placement needs, compare suitable providers, shortlist responses, and coordinate next steps securely.
Who can join?
PlaceBridge is for registered organisations and approved professional users. Personal email domains are not accepted for sign-up.
Why do I need a work email?
Work-email access helps reduce misuse and supports organisation verification. You must verify your email before access can be approved.
What can providers do?
- Publish availability, beds, supported living spaces, respite, and specialist support.
- Add CQC or Ofsted details and latest rating.
- Search placement needs and respond to suitable enquiries.
- Use private rooms to coordinate accepted placement conversations.
What can councils and social workers do?
- Create de-identified placement needs.
- Review provider availability and regulator information.
- Shortlist and accept provider responses.
- Track placement steps, messages, documents, and safeguarding checks.
What information should be shared?
Only share what is necessary for the placement workflow. Use de-identified summaries where possible and keep sensitive information inside secure rooms rather than ordinary email.
How does payment work?
Fees are shown only when an approved user chooses to view billing or continue to payment. Provider and council plans may have different trial periods and monthly pricing.
What if I cannot sign in?
- Check that you are using your work email.
- Make sure you have verified your email code.
- Your account may still be waiting for admin approval.
- Use the forgotten password link if needed.
